Kathryn Hewlett writes a very clear and easy to read article, with practical advise on “How to publish your journal paper” at http://www.apa.org/monitor/sep02/publish.html

The Journal of scholarly publishing http://www.utpjournals.com/jsp/jsp.html tracks development and trends in the scholarly publsihing field.  I think this is going to become a personal favourite of mine.

If you are at Tukkies the journal is available electronically from 1997 with a 6 month embargo from Ebsco’s Academic Search Premier and the hard copy is on level 5 at 020 JOU.
